Vice President

Jay Ryan has served on the Tea Area School Board for three years and currently serves as Vice President. A Tea Area resident for 14 years, Jay brings professional experience as a Senior Supply Chain Manager and a strong commitment to supporting students, families, and the community.

As a parent of Tea Area students, Jay chose to serve on the board because he wanted to be involved in decisions that impact children and help shape the future of the district. He enjoys interacting with members of the Tea Area community and contributing to projects that support the continued growth and success of Tea Area Schools.

Jay and his wife, Jesica, have been married for 16 years and have built their family in the Tea Area community. Their children include Jackson, a First Lieutenant serving in the United States Army; Garrett, an electrician with Muth Electric; and Tea Area students Katie and Henry.

Outside of board service, Jay enjoys coaching youth athletics, hunting, and golfing. He values the relationships and opportunities that come from being actively involved in the community and supporting local students.
