About Us

The goal of Student Meals is to provide high-quality, nutritionally sound meals that support student learning.

All Tea Area schools serve a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day they're in session. All meals served meet nutritional standards established by federal (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and state (South Dakota Department of Education) regulations. Policies set by the Tea Area School District support these programs.

Students and staff are offered meals at a reasonable price. Parents are welcome and encouraged to eat with their student. Please call your child's school office ahead of time to allow for food preparation.

School meals are safe. Our personnel are dedicated individuals who have been trained in safe food handling procedures. Our kitchens are regularly inspected by the State of South Dakota.
