Here you will find information on how to contact your School Resource Officer, Tea Police Department, Sioux Falls Police Department, and 911.
Tea Area School District has two resource officers due to the jurisdiction of where the schools are located. Officer Miranda is with the Tea Police Department and covers 4 of the schools: Legacy Elementary, Venture Elementary, Middle School, and High School. Officer Estep is with the Sioux Falls Police Department and covers Frontier Elementary.

Officer Miranda has been with the Tea Police Department since 2020 and has been a school resource officer since 2021. She graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Sociology.

Officer Banik
Officer with Sioux Falls Police Department
Frontier Elementary School Resource Officer
Officer Banik has been with the Sioux Falls Police Department for 5 years and this is his first year as a school resource officer. He was born and raised in South Dakota and has lived in the Sioux Falls area since fourth grade. Officer Banik enjoys hunting, working outside, spending time with family, and playing video games. He has been married for 25 years to his lovely wife who has a bubbly personality and loves meeting people. Officer Banik has three amazing daughters who are all married, and one two-year-old grandson.
