Parents and guardians of students currently enrolled in the Tea Area School District MUST annually review their household and student information for the upcoming school year.

Kindergarten
South Dakota Codified Law states that students are eligible to attend Kindergarten if they are 5 years old on or before September 1st of the current school year. If your child meets these criteria, we welcome them to one of our 3 elementary buildings.
Documents Required for Registration:
Please bring the following for the school staff to make a copy:
- Official Birth Certificate – copies, pictures, and duplicates are not accepted
- Proof of Residential Address – utility bill (water, electric, gas) OR lease/purchase agreement
- Proof of Immunizations
The requested items can be received at any Tea Area School building:
- District Education Center (131 N. Poplar)
- Legacy Elementary (505 N. Cole)
- Frontier Elementary (2700 W. Lancaster, Sioux Falls, SD 57106)
- Venture Elementary (101 E. 7th St.)
- Tea Area Middle School (505 W. Brian St)
- Tea Area High School (500 W. Brian St.)
