Today Miss Kleinjan's kindergarten class adopted Peeps. They had to name the Peep, make a house and baby book for the Peep. The class even had to pay a babysitter (with Titan bucks) to watch the Peeps while they were out of the room.
Today 10 schools, 17 teams and 88 students competed in a math bee. A big congratulations to our 5th grade math bee team for bringing home 3rd place and to Dawson who took 3rd place for individual. Way to go Venture Math Bee Team.
Over the last few weeks our 4th grade students have been learning about our government. Yesterday they had a special visitor. Mayor, Casey Voelker came in and talked to them. It was a terrific opportunity for the students to hear from the mayor about our government at the local level.
The lost and found at Venture is getting full. There are lots of hats, gloves, and sweatshirts. So many water bottles. Please take a look when you are in the building for parent teacher conferences this coming week.
These glasses have been in the office at Venture for a few days and no one is claiming them. So if you recognize them let us know.
Today we celebrated the 100th day of school. These 100 year old youngsters showed up to celebrate at Venture. Thanks for a great 100 days of school Venture students and staff.

Yesterday Mrs. Deibert's 5th grade classroom did an escape room. The class had 45 minutes to follow the clues to free the turkey stuck in the oven and save the Thanksgiving meal.
Incase you were worried the turkey was freed and the meal was saved with a few minutes to spare. This class must have some great sleuthing abilities.
Happy Thanksgiving. We hope your turkey doesn't get stuck in the oven.
In honor of Veterans Day Venture has The White Table set up in remembrance to service members missing, held captive or fallen.
